Human Trafficking is a growing industry; second only to drugs. Recent studies have found that libraries are the number one recruitment location. Anyone can become a victim, but children, immigrants, and the disabled are at particular risk. Florida and Ohio are in the top five states that have a high “forced-labor” problem.
In this webinar, we will:
• Discover the modern problem of human trafficking and its statistics
• Recognize the signs that your library has become a recruitment center
• Identify potential victims
• Learn what to do, who to call, and how to help
This webinar is recommended for all departments and all levels of authority.
