PCI Webinar with Samantha Chada
Emerging Technologies in Libraries – Part Two
The rate of adoption of emerging technologies in the public library space is challenging to predict. When and if to invest in a technology as it emerges is a critical question, and the answer may dramatically affect the future of your library.
In the second session in the series, Maker Movement, we will explore the popularity of maker/creator spaces in public libraries. We will also discuss the differences between Digital Media Labs, Fab Labs and Maker Spaces, and how public libraries have integrated these labs into their physical spaces and developed innovative programs.
We will also take a look at how you can start your own maker movement on a budget.
